DTC P0630: VIN Not Programmed Or Incompatible - ECM: Description

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) information is stored by the ECM, BCM and the IPC. The ECM reads the BCM VIN information every ignition cycle to verify a match between the 2 modules. If the ECM detects a VIN mismatch between the ECM and BCM, this DTC will set.
