Additional Inspections
- Visually and physically inspect vacuum hoses for splits, kinks, and proper connections and routing as shown on the Vehicle Emission Control Information label.
- Check the transmission Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) for proper operation. See appropriate DIAGNOSIS article in TRANSMISSIONS.
- Check the A/C clutch for proper operation. See appropriate AUTOMATIC or MANUAL article in HVAC.
- Check the exhaust system for possible restrictions. See RESTRICTED EXHAUST .
