- Shifting into neutral from the drive range while the vehicle remains in motion without stopping, will cause burning of the clutches.
- Transmission control module uses a EE-PROM and stores a DTC semi-presently thus requires that any DTC be eased with a scan tool.
- In the event that the TCM loses its ability (ex. Loss of power or internal programming) to control the transmission, the transmission operates in emergency mode also known as (D-4th ).
