Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat cushion frame to the cover and pad.
  2. Tie the drawstring to the seat cushion frame.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTIC in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the frame to the seat adjuster and install the fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Connect the heated seat wiring connector to the seat frame harness.

  5. Install the seat cushion cover J-strip to the seat frame at the back of the cushion.

  6. Install the seat back assembly and install the recliner fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

  7. Install the outer finish panel. Refer to Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Inner)  or Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Outer) .
  8. Install the inner recliner finish panel. Refer to Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Inner)  or Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Outer) .
  9. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
