Installation Procedure

  1. Position the seat into the vehicle.
  2. Slide the seat into the forward tracks.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTIC in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Apply Loctite® 242 Threadlocker, or an equivalent, to the seat fasteners and install the seat fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).

  4. Install the shoulder belt to the seat frame and install the bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Install the front recliner trim panel by pushing the panel into place.
  6. On power seats, install the trim panel to the seat belt webbing by pushing the panel into place.

  7. Verify the electrical seat components to ensure proper operation.
