Installation Procedure

  1. Lift the UHFB and position the battery tray on the studs.
  2. Install the bolts and nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery tray fasteners to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the negative battery cable on the chassis stud.

    Tighten:  Tighten the negative battery cable to chassis to 12.5 N.m (9.5 lb ft).

  4. Fasten the UHFB harness in the loops.
  5. Install the bolt securing the UHFB to the battery tray.
  6. Roll the UHFB towards the fender and snap the tabs.
  7. Install the coolant tank hose on the UHFB cover.
  8. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Installation  .
