Removal & Installation: Starter: V6: Installation
- Guide starter into engine block (flywheel housing). Install upper starter mounting bolt finger tight. Raise vehicle on a hoist. Install lower starter mounting bolts.
- Install "B+" cable, "S" terminal and retaining nuts at starter. Connect negative battery cable to battery. Tighten all to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install right front wheel. Install wheel bolts and tighten in a star pattern. Hand tighten all 5 wheel bolts. Using torque wrench, tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Lower vehicle. Tighten upper starter mounting bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reprogram radio stations.
