Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the cooling fan motors and bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (70 lb in).

Align the scribe marks on the cooling fan blades and motor shafts.
Install the cooling fan blades.

Install new retaining clips to the cooling fan blades.

Install the cooling fan assembly into the vehicle. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (2.2L (L61)) or Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (2.0L (LSJ)) .
