Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  2. Drain the transaxle fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear cover bolts.
  4. Remove the rear cover.
  5. Remove the rear cover gasket and discard.
