Installation Procedure

  1. Install the catalytic converter.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the catalytic converter nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  3. Install the catalytic converter bracket and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  4. Install the exhaust manifold pipe. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (L66)  or Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (L61) .

  5. Connect the 02 sensor electrical connectors (1, 2).
  6. Install the front lower air deflector.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
