Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Route the cable through the front of the dash from the outside in, over the camshaft cover, and over to the throttle body bracket.
  2. Push the cable through the front of the dash to engage the rubber grommet.
  3. Connect the accelerator control cable to the accelerator pedal assembly.
  4. Install the accelerator cable to the throttle body support bracket assuring that the locking tangs engage.
  5. Connect the accelerator cable to the throttle lever.
  6. Check the accelerator control assembly for binding.
