Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the lower control into the frame using new bolts. Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 90 N.m (66 lb ft) plus an additional 75 to 90 degrees.
  2. Install a new ball stud to steering knuckle pinch bolt and nut. Tighten:  Tighten the bolt and nut to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
  3. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire & Wheel Removal & Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Inspect the vehicle for alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment in Wheel Alignment.
