Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install the following components to the washer solvent container:
- The washer pump assembly and seal. Refer to Washer Pump Replacement .
- The washer level sensor and seal. Refer to Washer Solvent Container Level Sensor Replacement .
- The solvent container cap
- The solvent container hose. Refer to Washer Solvent Container Hose Replacement .

Position the washer solvent container to the left frame rail.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the washer solvent container nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
Connect the washer level sensor electrical connector.
Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.

Connect the washer solvent container hose to the windshield washer hose.
Close the hood.
Inspect the washers for proper operation.
