Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: The wiper arm nut must be hand-started to avoid cross-threading.

  1. Install the wiper arm onto the wiper module pivot shaft.
  2. Align the wiper blade to the wiper dots on the windshield.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the wiper arm nut. Hold the wiper arm to the wiper dot as you tighten the nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

  4. Install the wiper arm nut finish cap.

  5. Connect the wiper arm washer hose connectors to the air inlet grille panel.
  6. Operate the windshield wipers and inspect for proper operation.
  7. Close the hood.
