Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new side impact module wiring harness (1) to the seat.
  2. Install the retaining clips that fasten the side impact module wiring harness (1) to the seat.
  3. Install the side impact module to the seat. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front .
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7  for driver's seat or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9  for passenger seat.
