Installation Procedure

- With an assistant, position the hood to the hinges.
- Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
- Install the bolts that secure the hinge to the hood.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the hood insulator, if equipped. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement .
- Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
- Remove the protective covering from the fenders.
- Remove the support and close the hood.
