Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the output speed sensor.
    3. Fig 1: Input/Output Speed Sensor, Bolt & Screw

    IMPORTANT: Do not damage the output speed sensor or transaxle case.
  3. Remove the output speed sensor bolt/screw.
  4. Remove the output shaft speed sensor and the O-ring.
