Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CKP sensor (1).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the CKP sensor stud (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the stud to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the CKP sensor.
  5. Install the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LX9) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LZ9) .
