Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LX9) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LZ9) .
  2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
  3. Remove the CKP sensor stud (2).
  4. Remove the CKP sensor (1).
