Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the old urethane adhesive from the upper edge of the windshield using isopropyl alcohol.

  2. Apply a small amount 1 to 2 mm (0.04 - 0.08 in) of urethane adhesive (1) to the inside edge of the windshield upper reveal molding (2).
    IMPORTANT: Make sure that the windshield upper reveal molding is center to the windshield and roof panel before installing.
  3. Install the new windshield upper reveal molding.

    - Start the windshield upper reveal molding at either end, ensure the center point of the roof and molding before installing.

    - Working the windshield upper reveal molding across the windshield.

    - Ensure that the windshield upper reveal molding is fully seated against the windshield and the roof panel.

  4. Install a urethane adhesive bead to both left and right upper corners of the windshield approximate depth of 10 mm ( 0.4 ) in.
  5. Clean any excess urethane adhesive from the windshield and roof panel.
  6. Install the roof panel applique. Refer to Panel Applique Replacement - Roof Front  .
  7. Install the windshield frame applique. Refer to Applique Replacement - Windshield Frame  .
