Test Description

  1. 2:  This step tests for the presence of vehicle speed related DTCs in the control modules where the vehicle speed message originates.

1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

  1. Install a scan tool with a CANdi module.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With a scan tool, select the Engine or Transmission Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) function in Powertrain.
Does the scan tool indicate the presence of any engine control module (ECM) or transmission control module (TCM) DTCs?		 Go to Step 3

  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the electric power steering (EPS) DTCs
  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC.
Does DTC C0000 reset?		 Go to Step 2  System OK
