Installation Procedure

  1. Move the stabilizer bar into position from the right side of the vehicle.

  2. Install the stabilizer bushings on the stabilizer bar with the cut line facing rearward.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the stabilizer bar clamps and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Connect the stabilizer links to the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  5. Install the steering gear. Refer to Power Steering Gear Replacement .
  6. Install the rear transaxle mount. Refer to the following:
  7. Install the front wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (4 Lug Wheel) or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (5 Lug Wheel) .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
