Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (4 Lug Wheel) or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (5 Lug Wheel) in Tires and Wheels.
  2. Drain the transaxle fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Replacement .

  3. Remove the rear cover bolts.
  4. Remove the rear cover.
  5. Remove the rear cover gasket and discard.
