Preliminary Procedure: Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
1	Liftgate Handle Nuts (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Liftgate Handle Assembly Procedure: Disconnect the electrical connector.
