Removal Procedure

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE-47716) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.4L LE5 Only) .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (6) from the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.

  3. Remove the ECT.
