Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: The key should be in the off position when connecting the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration.
  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the HVAC control assembly.

  2. Install the HVAC control assembly.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the HVAC control assembly mounting screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the instrument panel lower trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Lower (w/Floor Console) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
    5. IMPORTANT: Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control assembly while the HVAC control assembly is calibrating. If interrupted improper HVAC performance will result.
  5. Start the engine and run for 1 minute.
