Removal Procedure

  1. Open the driver door.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).

    Remove the wiring harness plug in the direction of the arrow.

  4. Remove the accelerator pedal position sensor.

    Remove and discard the 3 nuts (2).
