Installation Procedure

  1. Push the 8 new seal rings (1, 2) carefully on the valves.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the new EBCM to hydraulic modulator.

    Tighten:  Tighten the hydraulic modulator bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

    • Push the EBCM onto the hydraulic modulator carefully without tilting it.
    • Attach 3 new bolts.
  3. Install the hydraulic modulator with EBCM. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
  4. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References .
