Circuit/System Testing
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the stoplamp switch is properly installed allowing the brake pedal to be fully released.
- Apply and release the brake pedal. Verify brake lamps operate properly.
- If not within the specified value, refer to Symptoms - Lighting Systems .
- Verify DTC C0131 is not set.
- If DTC is set, replace the BPMV and verify DTC does not reset. If DTC resets replace the EBCM.
