Radiator Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (2.4L LE5)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill-LNF) .
  2. Remove the upper radiator air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the fan shroud assembly. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement .
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement .
  5. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement .
  6. Remove the surge tank inlet hose from radiator. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe Replacement .
  7. Remove the radiator support brackets. Refer to Radiator Support Bracket Replacement .
1 A/C Condenser Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)
