- Inspect hazard warning switch continuity.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table shown in TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATION .

- Inspect ignition key cylinder lamp operation.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the illumination comes on.
- OK:
- Illumination comes on.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the illumination comes on.
- Inspect ignition key cylinder lamp operation.
- FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table shown in TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATION .
Standard:

Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATIONSTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 Switch is OFF 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 8 Switch is OFF 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 8, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the DOOR position.
- OK:
- Lamp comes on.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 4, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
- OK:
- Lamp comes on.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table shown in TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATION .
- ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.1
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table shown in TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATION .
Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATIONSTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Switch is OFF 10 kΩ or higher 1 - 3 Switch is OFF 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the DOOR position.
- OK:
- Lamp comes on.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 3, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
- OK:
- Lamp comes on.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table shown in TESTER CONNECTION CONDITION SPECIFICATION .
- ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.2
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
- OK:
- Lamp comes on.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that the lamp comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
- INDICATOR LAMP ASSY
- Inspect front console illumination.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination comes on.
- OK:
- Illumination comes on.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination comes on.
- Inspect front console illumination.
