Upper Instrument Panel: Installation
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Set the instrument panel.
- Connect the connectors.
- Attach the 3 clips and 9 claws to install the instrument panel.
- Install the 4 screws and bolt.
Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
- CONNECT PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR
- INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
- Push in the sides of the glove compartment door, as indicated by the arrows in the illustration. Then close the door to engage it to the 2 stoppers.
- INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
- Install the radio bracket with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET
- Install the radio bracket with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
- Connect the connectors.
- Attach the 4 clips and claw to install the instrument panel cluster finish panel.
- Install the 4 screws.
- INSTALL HEATER CONTROL KNOB
- Install the 3 heater control knobs.
- INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
- Attach the 2 clips and 2 claws to install the instrument cluster finish panel garnish.
- INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
- INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Connect the connectors.
- Install the combination meter with the 3 screws.
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
- Attach the 6 claws to install the instrument cluster finish panel.
- Install the 2 clips.
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH LOWER PANEL LH
- Attach the 2 clips and claw to install the instrument panel finish lower panel.
- INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH LOWER PANEL RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
- Attach the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish.
- INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION
).
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION

- CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
- Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
