Cooling System (Mechanical): Cooling: Radiator: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See COOLANT )
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
- DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
- DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET TUBE (for Automatic Transaxle)
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER OUTLET TUBE (for Automatic Transaxle)
- REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the 2 cooling fan motor connectors.
- Disconnect the 2 clamps of the engine room main wire.
- Disconnect the radiator reservoir hose.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 radiator support uppers, and then remove the radiator assembly.
- REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT LOWER
- REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Disconnect the 2 pawl fittings, and remove the fan assembly.
