Air Fuel Ratio Sensor: Inspection

INSPECT AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

Check the resistance.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
2 (+B) - 1 (HT)	20°C (68°F)	1.8 a to 3.4 Ω
2 (HT) - 1 (AF-)	-	10 kΩ or higher

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the air fuel ratio sensor.
