Steering Angle Sensor: Installation

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (See PRECAUTION ).

INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
1. Engage the 6 claws and insert the 2 pins into the holes to install the steering angle sensor onto the spiral cable.

INSTALL STEERING COLUMN UPPER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL STEERING COLUMN LOWER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE (See INSPECTION )
INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL STEERING PAD (See INSTALLATION )
TURN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
