Shift Lever Assembly: Removal

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
2. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER  (See REMOVAL )
3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER  (See REMOVAL )
4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
5. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
   1. Remove the 2 clips, and disconnect the cable ends of the control.

   2. Using a screwdriver, release the cable locks of the shift cable and select cable.

   3. Turn the lock nuts 180° counterclockwise, and hold them in that position to remove the shift cable and select cable.
   NOTE: Do not push in the cable locks.

6. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY 

1. Remove the 4 bolts and shift lever.
