Heated Oxygen Sensor: Inspection

INSPECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

Check the resistance.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 (HT1B) - 2 (+B)	20°C (68°F)	11 Ω to 16 Ω
1 (HT1B) - 4 (E2)	-	10 kΩ or higher

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the heated oxygen sensor.
