Door Control Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 
    1. Check the resistance of the door control switch.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 (E) - 2 (LOCK) LOCK Below 1 Ω
        1 (E) - 2 (LOCK) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        1 (E) - 9 (UNLOCK) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        1 (E) - 9 (UNLOCK) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

  2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Check the resistance of the door control switch.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        3 (E) - 4 (L) LOCK Below 1 Ω
        3 (E) - 4 (L) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        2 (UL) - 3 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        2 (UL) - 3 (E) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch.
