Rear Axle Hub: Installation
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE DUST COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
- Install the hub and bearing assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 90 N*m (918 kgf*cm, 67 ft.*lbf)
NOTE: Do not place the hub and bearing's magnet rotor side so that it is facing downward, and do not allow the magnet rotor side to become damaged or contact foreign matter.
- Install the hub and bearing assembly with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE (See INSTALLATION )
- INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB RUNOUT (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- INSTALL REAR DISC (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY
- Install the rear disc brake caliper with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 57 N*m (586 kgf*cm, 42 ft.*lbf)
- Install the rear disc brake caliper with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (See ADJUSTMENT )
- ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (See ADJUSTMENT )
- INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
- INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
- Inspect the rear wheel alignment (See INSPECTION ).
- CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
