  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE) 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Record the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

  2. CUSTOMIZE OPENING MODE 
    1. Opening Mode flow chart:

      HINT:

      • Opening Mode is a function where, upon engine start, the meter needles (speedometer and tachometer) move and, after a slight delay, the scales illuminate.
      • By setting the Opening Mode to OFF, the movement of the needles can be canceled.

    2. Procedure for customizing Opening Mode:

      1. Turn the ignition switch on.
      2. Press the MODE switch knob on the upper right side of the combination meter until the odometer displays "ODO".
      3. Turn the ignition switch off.
      4. Turn the ignition switch on while pressing and holding the MODE switch knob. Hold down the MODE switch knob for 5 seconds or more.
      5. Release the MODE switch knob. The mode will change to Cancel Mode.
      6. While in Cancel Mode, the setting will toggle between ON and OFF each time the MODE switch knob is pressed.
      7. Press and hold the MODE switch knob for 5 seconds or more to terminate the Cancel Mode.
