Front Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 
  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  3. REMOVE FENDER REAR PLATE MUDGUARD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  5. SEPARATE WIRE HARNESS (for RH Side) 
    1. Disengage the clamp from the No. 3 sensor clamp.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the front speed sensor connector.

      *1 No. 1 Sensor Clamp *2 No. 2 Sensor Clamp
      *3 No. 3 Sensor Clamp *4 Bolt A
      *5 Bolt B *6 Bolt C
      *7 Nut *8 Speed Sensor Connector
    2. Remove the nut and the No. 3 sensor clamp from the body.
    3. Remove the bolt C and separate the No. 2 sensor clamp from the shock absorber.
    4. Remove the bolt B and separate the brake flexible hose and No. 1 sensor clamp from the shock absorber.
    5. Remove the bolt A and the front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
      NOTE:
      • Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.
      • Clean the installation hole and the surface for the front speed sensor every time the front speed sensor is removed.
