DTC U3000-05: Control Module System Programming Failures; DTC U3000-41: Control Module General Checksum Failure; DTC U3000-43: Control Module Special Memory Failure; DTC U3000-46: Control Module Calibration / Parameter Memory Failure; DTC U3000-49: Control Mod: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, clear the DTC from the power steering ECU.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Chassis > Electronic-Controlled Power Steering > Clear DTCs 

2. Using the Techstream, perform the power steering ECU DTC inspection.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Chassis > Electronic-Controlled Power Steering > Trouble Codes 

3. Is the same DTC present?

   Result

   Proceed to
   Yes
   No

Yes 

REPLACE THE STEERING COLUMN.. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]

No
