Update Audio Unit Software

The smart high-line radio has a new software update available. Various faults can be rectified with this new software.

Because of a hardware modification in July 2011 there are 2 software variants, but they do not differ in terms of functionality.

The SW 9.23 software replaces the previous version:

SW 8.20 with factory part number A 451 906 03 80
SW 9.10 with factory number A 451 906 06 80

The SW12.23 software replaces the previous version

SW 12.10 with factory number A 451 906 10 80

The map data has not changed at this time.

The software is only available as a compressed file download, it must be extracted and copied to an SD card first and then onto the audio system. The software and an exact description of the procedure are available at the following link:

The serial number and the software variant can be read out of the device. The serial number is also available on the device label and in the Vedoc at "Theft-relevant data" after the abbreviation RB527xx.
