Test D - Diode Forward & Reverse
- Turn system test switch to "D". If system test LED light comes on, go to TEST E. If LED light does not come on, check for closed circuit between pins No. 30 and 87 on valve relay. If closed circuit is found, replace relay. If okay, using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between hydraulic modulator and ground (Black wire).
- If there is no continuity, repair wire. If there is continuity, check for circuit between ignition switch and hydraulic modulator connector (Light Green/Yellow and Yellow/Red wires). This circuit includes fuse No. 14 and ABS warning light.
- If circuit is not okay, repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, check for continuity between hydraulic modulator and ECU (Yellow/Green wire). If no continuity is found, repair wire. If there is continuity, replace modulator.
