Checking Fluid Level
- Normal operating temperature for fluid is 140-176°F (60-80°C) and is reached after driving for 10 minutes or idling for 25 minutes. With vehicle parked on level floor and at normal operating temperature.
- Set transmission selector lever in "P" position with engine idling. Remove dipstick and clean with lint-free cloth. Insert and remove dipstick, note fluid level and add through dipstick hole to bring to full mark. When filling transmission, do not overfill.
