Trip Computer

The trip computer contains a self-diagnostic function to check for any malfunction of circuitry or display. Pressing the "CLOCK", "ALARM" and "ARRIVE" buttons at the same time will light up all 7 segments for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, each digit counts down from 9-0 (zero), pausing for .5 second each. During this time, the other various displays will flash alternately. The self-diagnostic function is canceled after one cycle or if another button is pushed. The self-diagnostic function is ended when figures "0000" are displayed, ignition switch is turned off, and function switch is turned on. When the self-diagnostic function is ended, display changes to "CLOCK" mode.
