This trouble code can be caused by an open or shorted circuit in the CFC control system or by a defective CFC solenoid.

Ignition switch off
Disconnect connector F75 from ECVT control unit.
Ignition switch on
Measure voltage between terminal #4 of connector F75 and body ground. It should measure approximately 12 volts. See Fig 3 .

If this value is obtained, proceed to Troubleshooting Chart B. If it is not obtained, repair harness, connectors or fuse.

Ignition switch off
Disconnect CFC solenoid connector F21 from the engine harness.
Measure the resistance between terminal 2 (black wire) and terminal 6 (red wire) of the solenoid side of the F21 connector. See Fig 4 . This value should be between 10 to 100.
