Low Fuel Indicator Light: Legacy
- If low fuel indicator light fails to operate or operates inconsistently, check power supply. If power supply is okay, proceed to step No. 2). If power supply is defective, check wiring between battery and fuse. Repair wiring as necessary.
- If power supply is okay, check fuel gauge sending unit. See FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace sending unit if defective. If sending unit is okay, check low fuel indicator light. Replace bulb or fuel gauge if defective.
- If low fuel indicator light is okay, check for defective ground or wiring circuit. Repair wiring as necessary.
