2WD Line Pressure
- Connect a pressure gauge to line pressure checking plug on rear cover of transaxle. See Fig 1. Place gauge in position for viewing from driver's seat, route gauge hose through hole in floor (blank cap hole - left of steering column).
- With engine at normal operating temperature and transaxle fluid at correct level, perform line pressure test with transaxle in N and engine at idle (1500 RPM).

- Perform line pressure test in "D", 2 and "R" ranges. Start vehicle from a standstill and slowly increase engine speed. Note pressure in each range. Pressures should be approximately as shown in the appropriate LINE PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS table.
