4WD Line Pressure
- Connect a pressure gauge to line pressure checking plug located on transaxle extension housing, behind oil pan. See Figure. Place gauge in position for viewing from driver's seat.
- With engine at normal operating temperature and transaxle fluid at correct level, perform line pressure test with transaxle in "N" and engine at idle (1500 RPM).
- Perform line pressure test in "D", 2 and "R" ranges (2WD mode). Start vehicle from a standstill and slowly increase engine speed. Note pressure in each range. Pressures should be approximately as shown in appropriate LINE PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS table.
